Stephen Byrne- Producer
Stephen Byrne has been involved in film making for six years.
A 25 year old from Waterford, he has worked on four short films and one feature film, in which he worked on different areas of filmmaking, from Producing to writing to directing.
His award winning film Jacks Hat is his fourth short film but is the first short film he has produced as a established freelancer under Maddog Productions in which he also produces and directs corporate videos, his latest being for the Waterford Chamber of Commerce for the VHI Business Excellence Awards.
Stephen has just recently produced his first feature film, “The Headmaster” which is based on Padraig Pearse and the events leading up to the 1916 Rising. The film will start the festival circuit next year. He is also the founder and the Creative Director of the Annual Waterford Film Festival and is looking into the development of other short and feature film projects.

(Jack's Hat) was recently screened in the Underground film festival in San Francisco and it was selected to be apart of the festivals online distribution programme.
