Hi All, Well this is it! The festival is just 8 days away, I can not believe a year has passed since I started looking into setting it up and now its just around the corner.
There is going to be a lot on for the 1st year. I had only attended showing around 50 films but the response was so good, the total amount of films that will be screened is 78. There is a bit of everything at the festival, dramas, romance, horror, thrillers, period/historic films, foreign language, award winners, premiers from short films to feature films and documentaries, there is something for everyone. The festival programme is fully online including ticket information and links for accommodation. You can also pick up a printed version of the programme in the four sponsor venues where the films are been screened:
Revolution Bar |
Masons bar and Night Club |
Tower Hotel |
Granville Hotel
Plus copies have been and more will be in various venues of the city and county including :
Failte Ireland tourist office on the quays The Book Center, Gater Lane Arts Center, O Brien's Coffee Georges Street, plus many more pub, bars and business in Waterford city and surrounding areas. So keep your eyes open for them but they will be available each day during the festival also.
The Festival will open up on Thursday the 15th of November at 7.30 pm upstairs in Revolution Bar and opening film is Cuba –Libre, tickets are €10 which includes a wine reception and they are available at the entrance of the bar.
