Introducing the 5th Annual Waterford Film Festival

Three Day Festival

Running from the 4th to the 6th of November, the festival showcases a wide range of short films from documentaries, animation, short films, experimental and student work.

Once again Waterford Municipal Art Gallery at Greyfriars will be transformed into a cinema for the festival.

The Waterford City Council Award for Best Short Film :

There will be a cash award as well as a certificate for this award and there will be 2nd place Certificate for this category also.

Short Screenplay Competition

The short screenplay competition includes a cash award for first place as well as a certificate.

Over the years the festival has had many successes.

Each year about 80% of filmmakers attend the festival, some from as far as the U.S. and Canada. All have been hugely complementary about their experience.
